❓

Troubleshooting FAQs

Direct solutions to common network, protocol, and pairing questions.

Q: Does it need a hub or a dimmable wall switch?

A: Neither. It is a Wi-Fi plug with its own dimmer, controlled through the app, Alexa or Google. The wall switch stays on and the plug does the dimming.

Q: The lights flicker at low brightness.

A: Set the minimum brightness lock. Outdoor LED fixtures and transformers have a floor below which they cannot regulate. If the fixture is not marked dimmable, no setting will help.

Q: How far can it be from the router?

A: About 300 ft in open air, but the practical limit is the 2.4 GHz signal at the outlet. Landscape runs behind brick or metal fixtures often need a mesh node closer.
