How do I know if my controller supports Z-Wave Long Range (LR)?
Z-Wave Long Range requires an 800-series controller running Z-Wave JS (Home Assistant), SmartThings Hub v3 with 800 dongle, or Hubitat C-8. All Minoston 800 devices seamlessly operate on standard mesh if an older 500/700 hub is used.
Why is my smart plug flashing amber and not responding to clicks?
A slowly blinking amber LED indicates the device is in SmartStart discovery / pairing broadcast mode. Once successfully included into your hub, the LED will return to normal load status indication.
How to eliminate low-voltage LED bulb flickering when dimmed?
Certain dimmable LED drivers have minimum power thresholds. Access your controller's parameter settings and adjust Parameter 4 (Minimum Brightness Level) from 1% up to 12%~15% to stop flicker.
