Troubleshooting FAQs
Direct solutions to common network, protocol, and pairing questions.
Q: Does this switch support 3-way wiring, and is a hub required?
A: This switch supports single-pole installation only and requires a neutral wire. It connects directly to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, so no hub is needed.
Q: It will not re-pair after a power cut.
A: Hold the 30 Min button 5s to force pairing mode, then re-add it. If the app still cannot find it, the Wi-Fi password has changed or the router moved it to a 5 GHz band.
Q: How far can the switch be from the router?
A: About 150 ft line of sight. A switch inside a metal box in a bathroom loses more signal than a plug in open air, so check the 2.4 GHz level before installing.
